The One Where They Both Propose: Parth & Sayali’s Double Surprise

Love finds its way into our lives in the most unexpected ways, and for Parth and Sayali, their story began on Anuroop, a popular Marathi wedding platform designed to help individuals and families find their perfect match. Though their journey started as a typical arranged marriage, it quickly blossomed into a beautiful, heartfelt romance, with each of them planning their own surprise proposal. Here’s a glimpse into their unique love story and the unforgettable day we spent capturing it all.

We began our shoot in the charming town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, known for its storybook-like architecture, enchanting boutiques, and stunning coastal scenery. Located along California’s breathtaking coastline, Carmel offers a blend of natural beauty and small-town charm that made it an ideal setting for Parth and Sayali’s love story to unfold. With cobblestone streets and hidden courtyards, this picturesque town set a romantic stage for the start of their adventure.

Sayali was the first to reach out to us, excited to surprise Parth with a proposal during their pre-wedding shoot. Together, we discussed every detail, planning to make it a special, memorable moment. However, just a day before the shoot, Parth gave us a call with the exact same plan! He too wanted to surprise Sayali by proposing to her during the shoot, completely unaware of her plan.

We couldn’t help but laugh at the adorable situation! Both Sayali and Parth were eager to make their proposal a special surprise for one another, showing how deeply they’d come to care for each other. With this beautiful twist in their story, we had to think creatively about how to capture these back-to-back proposals without spoiling either of their surprises. After a quick discussion, we decided that Sayali would go first since she’d reached out to us first.

After exploring Carmel’s quaint streets and coastal beauty, we headed to the 17-Mile Drive, a scenic road through Pebble Beach known for its dramatic coastal views. This beautiful stretch of coastline provided the perfect backdrop for their double proposal. After setting up a cozy spot and positioning them just right, Sayali made her move. She expressed her feelings in a heartfelt moment that took Parth completely by surprise, leaving him both speechless and overjoyed.

With a wide smile and obvious delight, Parth followed suit. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his own ring, and proposed to Sayali, sharing his own emotions in an equally moving moment. The laughter that ensued between the two of them was infectious. Watching them laugh, tear up, and embrace each other, we saw how their relationship had blossomed into a strong, genuine love that transcended the formality of an arranged match.

As photographers, it’s moments like these that make our work so fulfilling. Capturing their natural expressions, authentic laughter, and shared joy made our job easy and unforgettable. The beach setting along the 17-Mile Drive enhanced the magic, blending the beauty of nature with the warmth of their love.

Adding to the magic, Parth and Sayali had written letters to each other, capturing their feelings and excitement about their future together. As they sat together on the beach reading each other’s letters, we captured this quiet, intimate moment between them. These heartfelt letters served as a beautiful reminder of the depth of their relationship and the joy they were building as they looked toward their future.

Capturing love stories like Parth and Sayali’s reminds us why we’re passionate about wedding photography. Every couple has a unique story, and being able to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments is what makes our work so rewarding. Whether it’s a proposal, pre-wedding shoot, or wedding day, we are honored to preserve the beauty and magic of a couple’s journey.
