One thing this bride, Payal knew in her growing up years was that if she decides to get married, she will do it the South Indian way! A passionate fan of all Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil movies, she wouldn't have it any other way!

Imagine a 18 year old Payal dancing to 'Naakka Mukka' song, not knowing who the future groom is going to be, but totally knowing what theme the wedding is going to be!

So you have to understand our surprise when we went expecting a Maharashtrian haldi and were pleasantly surprised to see a wonderfully vibrant South Indian haldi look and decor!

For her Haldi, Payal had opted for the aunthentic Pattu Pavaadai half saree look. The attire was specially designed and draped by a Chennai designer who also happened to be Payal's cousin. Vibrant Kathakali dancers, complete with their masks and attire welcomed all, while dancing to their folk songs! Traditional south indian drummers set the vibe with their steady welcoming beat.

The venue was decorated using flowers, coconuts and accessories that drew inspiration straight from the south indian weddings!

It was all a close-knit family celebration, and everyone was in touch with their emotional sides. Unlike most weddings, people in this one weren't busy on their phones.. infact, they were really immersed in the experience, deciding to capture moments in their hearts✨

Such an easy comfort was seen as the wedding progressed between this adorable couple who had an arranged marriage. From being shy on their engagement day, to twirling each other and shaking legs and bursting in bouts of uncontrollable laughter at their sangeet; these cuties didn't take long to became crowd favorites!

As a parting thought, we'll like to say that marrying someone you love is beautiful, and so is loving someone you marry!

Arranged marriages can be wonderful if done in a consentful and thoughtful manner; Payal and Satyajeet's marriage is a sweet example of one! ❤️
